Coaching Success respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices available to you.
Who is responsible for your information
Coaching Success, led by Joel Zimelstern, is responsible for personal information under its control. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:
- contact details such as your name, email address and telephone number;
- information you choose to provide in an enquiry, assessment, booking or guide-request form, including business needs, team size, objectives and preferred timing;
- appointment and event information when you book or register through a linked service;
- technical and usage information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referring page and approximate location; and
- marketing preferences and records of communications with us.
Please do not submit confidential or highly sensitive information through a general website form.
Why we use personal information
We use personal information for reasonable purposes connected with our coaching and training services, including to:
- respond to enquiries and arrange consultations;
- provide requested guides, assessments, coaching, workshops or event information;
- manage client and prospective-client relationships;
- send service messages and, where permitted, relevant business updates;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the website;
- understand aggregate website performance; and
- meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
If we wish to use your information for a materially different purpose, we will explain that purpose and seek any consent required by law.
Consent and your choices
By voluntarily submitting a form, you consent to the collection and use of the information for the purposes explained at the point of collection and in this policy. Optional marketing communications will include a way to unsubscribe. You may withdraw consent, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice, by contacting us.
Cookies, analytics and embedded services
The site may use cookies and similar technologies needed for operation, security, remembering preferences and measuring performance. Analytics services may collect usage information in order to produce aggregated reports. The site also links to or embeds services used for forms, scheduling, video, maps and the public events calendar. Those providers may set their own cookies or process information under their own privacy policies.

Service providers and transfers
We may use trusted providers to host the website, manage forms and customer relationships, deliver email, schedule appointments, analyze site use, maintain security and display content. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and safeguards
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the identified purposes and any legal or business-record requirements. We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Access, correction and complaints
You may ask whether we hold personal information about you and request access to or correction of that information, subject to applicable legal exceptions. If a concern is not resolved, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia or, where applicable, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
